One hurdle finally down!

We received official copies of our homestudy this morning and sent the I-600A paperwork to Dallas this afternoon! The I-600A is the second in a series of paperwork "hurdles" we must overcome to complete our adoption. It's exciting to be taking this tangible step forward toward Natalya. While we are waiting for our approval from USCIS, our adoption agency is working with us to start compiling the dossier. For Natalya's country, the dossier is submitted to the agency in two parts. The first part, described as the "easy" section, looks a bit formidable...but as always, our baby is worth it! Next week, we also hope to submit several applications for adoption grants.
